I think psychology is the study of the mind and behavior in people.
The goals of psychology are to study the mind and lean about human behaviors...
Psychology literally translates to "study of the mind/soul." It is a delicate scientific study of the mental functions of humans and animals. As a soft science, much psychology of cannot be proven with hard evidence and will often remain in an advanced theory stage.
The goal of psychology is to better understand cognitive behavior, develop knowledge regarding the mind, and in some cases diagnose and treat those with mental illness.
