Blogging Day 1: Task 2

Hello Students! Today it is going to be your job to look over pages 161-167 in your text book. With this information in mind, please create the following diagram using Microsoft Publisher or a similar program.

First, you will need to find a blank brain diagram (search google). From there you will need to label the following items in the brain:

• Corpus Callosum
• Cerebellum
• Spinal Cord
• Medulla
• Pons
• Pituitary gland
• Hypothalamus
• Thalamus
• Cerebral cortex
• Forebrain
• Occipital lobe
• Paretal lobe
• Primary somatosensory cortex
• Primary motor cortex
• Temporal lobe
• Frontal lobe
  

From there you will need to write a sentence describing the function of each item listed in the brain.

The goal of this exercise is for you to understand the complexity of the brain and all of its functions. This will serve as an important tool when we start to learn more about Psychology.
